These Spring flowers form 6 petaled upward facing candelabras which bloom for close to a month. Each flower is 1" in diameter.

Depending on the age of the bulb there will be anywhere from 6 - 1 flowers per plant.

Mature bulbs have a silvery center stripe on the 8"-12" long narrow leaves. Juvenile bulbs can be mistaken for mild onions. There are conflicting reports of both to?icity, and, edibility, both historic, and, modern. Caution is warranted in their use.

The bulbs will be fresh dug from my backyard the day they're shipped. Depending on the season, they may be live plants, or, dormant bulbs.
