Cinnamon Vine, AKA Chinese Yam is delicious, easy to grow, and, beautifies even the ugliest fence while providing tons of food. Both the leaves, and, the bulbils which form at the leaf axils are edible, and, delicious. The leaves actually have more nutrients than spinach, and, the bulbils taste just like the miniature potatoes that they resemble. Additionally, the main tuber, which can exceed 3' in length, can be boiled whole, or, grated into soups as a thickener. Personally, I prefer the texture of the bulbils. Grow them on a fence, or, train them over an arbor, it's great either way.

You will receive a minimum of 5 bulbils, I often double the listing. If you intend to harvest the tubers, I suggest growing them in a large planter with removable sidess. That way, you won't go to Herculean efforts to get them.

Be careful where you plant this, the tiny bulbils can grow at surprisingly small sizes, and, can be carried a great distance by heavy rain. It can grow outside in zones 5 - 11. Some states have it listed as an invasive species.
